(Hillsboro)--A potential administrative shake up could happen under a plan given to the Hillsboro Board of Education Tuesday night. Under the proposal, Superintendent David Powell would resign as Superintendent and become a math teacher. Assistant Superintendent Kyle Hacke would then become the Superintendent. The proposal would also have all Assistant Principals positions being reduced to part time. No action was taken by the Board of Education. The Hillsboro School District is attempting to cut one million dollars in its fiscal year 2014 budget.
